Introduction
Continuously variable speed makes Agile Vortex Mixer useful for a variety of applications, from gentle mixing to resuspending pellets.
Agile Vortex Mixer can be operated in either touch or continuous mode. When in touch mode, the motion is activated by depressing the sample head and stopped by removing the pressure. If the unit is set in the continuous position, Agile Vortex Mixer will operate continuously until turned off. The small footprint and portability of Agile Vortex Mixer allow it to be used almost anywhere.

| A DC motor within Agile Vortex Mixer |
Compared to other manufacturers who use a shaded-pole motor, we use a DC motor in our Vortex Mixer. The DC to shaded-pole cost ratio is about 3 to 1. |
